Cómo hacer Siddhasana
 

Siéntate con las piernas estiradas frente a ti. Dobla tu rodilla izquierda y coloca el talón izquierdo sobre el perineo. Dobla tu rodilla derecha y coloca el talón derecho sobre tu talón izquierdo.
Siéntate recto, relaja tus hombros y coloca tus manos sobre los talones mirando hacia arriba en el Mudra Anjali.
 

Beneficios de Siddhasana
 

Esta postura sentada de yoga estimula el chakra raíz, el primer chakra, y con ello la energía Kundalini. Se dice que Siddhasana estimula la energía sexual. Además, es ideal para los órganos reproductivos y el sistema ginecológico.
La postura del experto se usa en meditación porque ayuda a la concentración mental. Es una posición que beneficia a tu sistema nervioso y ayuda a regular la presión sanguínea.

Cuando estés en la postura, debes sentir cierta presión sobre tu perineo.
 

Consejos y Ayuda
 

En el momento en que sientas cansancio o tensión en las piernas durante el ejercicio, cámbialas de posición poniendo el pie derecho por debajo del izquierdo.
 

Cuándo evitar Siddhasana
 

Si tienes problemas de rodilla, dolor y debilidad o si tus ligamentos están desgastados o rotos, debes evitar esta postura. Si tienes dudas, por favor consulta a tu médico o fisoterapeuta y díselo a tu profesor de yoga.
